Greenham Trust and Sovereign Housing Association have agreed to develop a brand new operational hub on Greenham Business Park. The new 28,000 sq ft, three storey building will support 550 on-site, mobile and remote staff.
The move for Sovereign is part of their new, five-year strategy to maximise their social impact, replacing 20 offices and depots with new, modern hubs. The decision to retain a regional hub close to Newbury town centre on Greenham Business Park is excellent news for West Berkshire.
Working with Greenham Business Park also supports Sovereign’s social purpose, as the Trust utilises its surplus income to deliver funding for charitable purposes in the local area, via its owner, Greenham Trust. Sovereign already works with Greenham Trust, via The Good Exchange, to run a community grants programme, so this agreement serves to enhance this already successful partnership.
